Just wanted to share a few pictures of my class project I have coming up for next week. This turned out super cute! It's a one-sheet-wonder made with the Fifth Avenue Floral stamp set. The basic idea is that you stamp a whole sheet of paper and then cut it into sections to make a bunch of cards with it.
If you are local and want to attend my class, just let me know. It's next Tuesday, May 4th or next Thursday, May 6th. Attendees will receive all the materials to make the cards and card holder, plus the instruction template for how I cut my sheet up so they can duplicate it at home! This would make a really great gift for Mother's day or a friends birthday!
Here's a photo of how it looks when you open it up:
And here's a sneak peek of the cards:
I will post individual photos after my class but don't want to give away all the surprise for those who are attending!
The Fifth Avenue Floral set is on sale until the end of the month, so if you like to get this set, make sure to contact me before the end of the week to receive the sale price!
Hope you can join me for my class!
Remember those fun double-punched flowers I showed you here? I wanted to make some cards using them. The first is a card where I combined two different ideas that I've shown you. I had some pieces left from making this card with all the squares and thought I'd try a different take on it. So I made a vertical card with the leftover squares (all from the Sweet Pea Designer Paper Pack) and added the sentiment on the bottom from the Heard from the Heart Stamp set. I then added on a flower and some leaves punched using the XL Bird Punch. Isn't it pretty?
The next card I used the same technique on the flower but added a pretty brad in the center. This card also uses the Sweet Pea Designer Paper. For the stamping I used the phrase "you raise kindness to an art" from the Vintage Vogue Set, making that my focal point and stamping the edges with the flourishes, also from that set. The card base is Burmuda Bay and the other colors on this card are old olive and so saffron.
thanks for looking!

I really love this stamp set--Trendy Trees! I haven't pulled it out in awhile so I thought I should make a card with it. This card was super simple to make. I started with a Kraft Card stock base and a piece of white that was the same width. I tore it off to make a fun edge and stamped a row of trees using chocolate chip and old olive and certainly celery. Then I tore another piece of chocolate chip and put it underneath. Then I stamped the sentiment "thinking of you" in the lower corner. Then as a finishing touch I stamped the speckles from the Bitty Backgrounds stamp set.
If you like this set and haven't added it to your collection yet, It's on sale until the end of the month for only $14.36 (reg. 17.95) Contact me to order!

Today I'm going to show you how to make this cool flower! This was one of the fun punched shapes we made at my punch art class last week. Since this one was a little tricky, I said I'd post the directions on my blog!
Punch out one 5-petal flower in yellow. Set Aside.
Punch one in Red. I always punch with the punch upside down so I can see where I'm punching the paper.
Take the red flower and put it on a sticky note with the sticky side up so the flower stays put. If you don't have any sticky notes you can just use a bit of adhesive on the back and stick it to a piece of scrap paper. The reason you are doing this is because you're going to be punching this same flower again and it's easier to line it up if it's on a bigger piece of paper.
Place the shape on the sticky note back into the punch, holding it so you can see where you're punching. Line the punch up so that the pointy inside parts of the petals on the punch are in the centers of the red flower petals. Then Punch again.
Remove it from the sticky note...
And you have a cool new punched shape for your layered flower!
Then I added a smaller flower punched from the trio flower punch and a brad for the center....
Isn't it cute?
Here it is again-- Now I just have to make a card to put it on!

We received the Stamp set Vintage Vouge and made a bunch of cute projects with it! Here is What the set looks like:
I love how simple and sweet this card is:
This is a cute little mini 3x3 inch card. I love the color combo with the Crushed Curry, Soft Suede and Rich Razzleberry... I never would have thought to put them together
This project was a cute little treat holder. I would be perfect for a mini bag of M&Ms or something like that..
This one uses those little Glassine Envelopes and and Sending Love notes. They are super tiny but really cute:
And last but not least, a 8x8 scrapbook page!

Until then, Here's pictures of the pages we did at my first fabulous Scrapbook class. This class turned out to be a lot of fun!
We made two 12 x 12 page spreads. The first spread we did used the Daisy die in the Big Shot to make all kinds of fun Daisies for spring. It also uses the swirly stamp from the Baroque Motifs stamp set and the Lovely Letters Alphabet.
I just love how this one turned out. I purchased the On Board So Tweet birds forever ago and having been wanting to use them so this was the perfect opportunity. I covered the bird with paper from the Sweet Pea Designer paper pack. I also used the designer paper to punch out the XL flowers on the second page. I love how this all coordinates together with the Good Friend stamp set. And, of course, I had to use the Top Note die for the Big shot.... since it's my favorite!
Well, I have to go get my bag packed for tomorrow! Hope you have a good weekend!
