Happy Birthday Card

I made this card for my uncles birthday. I have a hard time making more "masculine" cards because I have so many flower stamps! But I thought the Polka Dots and Petals set would work perfectly if I left off the petals and I love the result! It's a very fun card that could be given to a guy or a girl! I also used the big dot pattern stamp from Polka Dots and Paisleys to stamp a dot pattern on the chocolate chip background piece.

stamps: Polka Dots & Petals, Polka Dots & Paisleys
paper: Taken with Teal, Chocolate Chip, Close to Cocoa, Whisper White
accessories: Round Tab punch

Happy Birthday Fish!

I had so much fun making this card for my friends son Jake's 2nd birthday. I was inspired by the wrapping paper I found in my closet that had fish on it. I made this card to match the colors in the paper. I used the polka dots and petals in the background to make a fun bubble-like background. I also used glitter on it to make it fun! I hope you enjoy it too!

stamps: Fishy Friends, Polka Dots and Petals, Everyday Flexible phrases
paper: Taken with Teal, Tempting Turqouise, Green Galore, Whisper White
accessories: Scallop punch (marvy) celery grograin ribbon, eyelets

Aren't these just adorable? They're made from a 6x6 piece of paper so you can make 4 out of one sheet of designer paper! Then fill them with some treats or a little Easter gift. This will be the hostess gift and door prize for my workshop tonight. Also, this will be one of the projects featured at my Paisley class on March 31st. Check out my website or e-mail me to sign up!

Happy Card

This card is a little different since I cut the cardstock in half the long way to make a card that folds at the top instead of the side like I usually do. I also used the new Petals and Paisleys Designer paper from the spring mini. It's super simple to make and looks really cute!

stamps: Polka Dots and Paisleys, Polka Dots and Petals, Jumbo Petals Wheel
papers: Tempting turquoise, regal rose, whisper white,
Designer paper: petals and paisleys

Love those Paisleys!

This set is part of the Paisley Bundle special this month and I just love it! If you order this set with the coordinating wheel and paper, you get to choose another item at half price from the spring mini! Contact me for details!

Welcome to my blog!

I just re-organized my stamping space, complete with computer desk, and I thought it couldn't be a better time to start a blog!

On this blog I plan on sharing stamping ideas, cards I've made, and general fun stamping info! Hope you enjoy reading!

First I want to show off my new stamping space!
We used some christmas and birthday gift cards to purchase some storage cubes from target and a cool little flat-screen tv for my stamping space! It's so cool, I don't think I'll ever want to leave once I start stamping! The target cubes hold so much stuff and it will be so nice to have it right next to my table instead of running around to find things.

Another big change is that we moved the computer desk into this room so now I can easily print photos and check out websites while working on my scrapbook! I'm super excited to start using this room now!
