Here is a beautiful fall card- perfect for a birthday or just to send for fun! We made this card at my stamp-a-stack on Thursday. Can you guess how the square in the background was created? It's super easy - just find a stamp block the size you want and ink it up like you would a stamp!! Then press onto your paper and you get a fun background shape. They don't ink up perfectly or evenly so it add a nice distressed look. For this card I used crumb cake ink pad to make my background and stamp block size D. The stamp set is one of my favorites, French Foilage - I don't think it's possible to make an ugly card with this set - it's so easy to use and they always turn out so pretty! The woodgrain texture was created with the new woodgrain embossing folder in the big shot... Don't forget to add a sentiment and some bakers twine and then you have a easy and beautiful fall card.
stamps: French Foilage, Friendly Phrases (sentiment)
ink: Early Espresso, crumb cake, cajun craze
paper: Early Espresso, crumb cake, cajun craze, Very Vanilla
Big Shot: Woodgrain embossing folder
other: Stamp block to stamp background, early espresso bakers twine.
