Retro Sketches Challenge!

I had so much fun making a card with this layout  for my mom (see post here) I thought I would try another one!  I'm finding that having a  sketch to start with is much fun and makes stamping time quick and easy! I love making cards but sometimes you don't have a lot of time so this is definitely the way to go!

This layout is based on sketch challenge #62 from retro sketches.

Here's what I came up with:




I used the stamp set Summer Silhouettes from Stampin' Up! and a retired sentiment.
I stamped the images and then took some white bakers twine and rubbed over it with a sponge inked in rich razzleberry ink to give it a "purplish" hue! 


stamps: Summer silhouettes, well-scripted (retired)

ink: rich razzleberry, pool party, lucky limeade, early espresso
paper: crumb cake, whisper white
other: bakers twine, sponge
