Halloween Treat Wrapper

I love this new Candy Wrapper Die for the big shot! Isn't it cool? I made this one out of pumpkin pie card stock, then tied black taffeta ribbon on the sides. The bat I stamped with Versamark and embossed with silver embossing powder on black card stock and punched out with the Large Oval punch. He's from the set From the Crypt. Fright Night-- take two!

Here's another card using the Fright Night stamp. I covered the base of the card using the Bring on the Bats jumbo roller and concord crush. I used the Spider Web Embossing Folder on soft suede card stock to create the embossed web image. Then I wrapped it with the 1/2" lace trim. This lace trim is super cool! Check out the close up to see it better:

Fright Night!

I just love Halloween and Stampin' Up! has the coolest spooky and fun stuff for Halloween. I can't wait to show you all the cool stuff I'm making!

Here's the first one -- the Fright Night stamp is a single stamp in the back of the mini catalog. When I saw it, I knew I had to have it. I stamped it by coloring it with black and concord crush markers. Then I framed it with some crumb cake card stock. The concord crush background was created using the Bring on the Bats jumbo roller inked in concord crush ink. The spider web was created by putting the black card stock through the Big Shot with the Spider Web embossing folder and then sponging over the web parts with some frost white shimmer paint! Doesn't it look cool? Here's a close-up:

Best Wishes this Fall

Here is a quick and simple fall card to make for anyone. I started with cajun craze card stock. Then I stamped the leaves and acorns from the Day of Gratitude stamp set in cajun craze, riding hood red, more mustard and early espresso on a strip the same width as the card. I finished it off with a piece of 3/8" early espresso taffeta ribbon. The border is created with the decorative scallop border punch.

For the sentiment I used "best wishes" from the Sincere Salutations stamp set. I punched it out with the Large oval punch and layered with with a piece of early espresso punched from with the designer label punch.

Rustic Leaf card

For this card I used the Stamp set French Foliage. This set is so pretty and rustic looking. I stamped the leaves by coloring them with the more mustard marker and then coloring the edges with the cajun craze marker. The sentiment is from the set Day of Gratitude and is stamped on Crumb Cake paper and punched out with the new XL decorative label punch. I added a little piece of olive striped ribbon as an accent.To make things look more aged, I sponged the edges with chocolate chip ink.

Here is a card using the gorgeous big medallion stamp from the Day of Gratitude stamp set. This is my favorite stamp in the set... I love how intricate it is! It took a little while to color in the stamp with markers but it looks very cool when stamped! I framed with with some chocolate chip card stock and then wrapped it with old olive ribbon. The thank you was punched out using the new XL decorative label punch. I love this new punch...the shape is really pretty!

Pirate Owls!

For my brothers birthday I thought it would be fun to make him some pirate owls! These were easy to make, I just modified the owls punched out with the Owl Punch. I added an eyepatch and peg leg to one and gave the other one a pirate hat and hook. Here's a close-up:



Aren't they funny? The circles behind them are from the Apple Blossoms Hostess Set. The Happy Birthday sentiment is from the Afterthoughts Hostess set and punched out with the new XL decorative label punch.
