More Tart & Tangy projects

I'm a little behind on blogging lately. My day job has been taking up all my time and then some... I've been so busy with work that I haven't had time to stamp...or blog. And I'm really missing it. I'm hoping to find more time to do the things I love...I've got a pile of new stuff I haven't even had time to play with so stay tuned....once I get some extra time, I'm going to have lots of fun to show you!!

Meanwhile, here's some more projects from the Tart & Tangy class I had recently.

The first is a little snack bag of orange slices (yum) in a cello bag with a cute topper. To make the topper I used some Pumpkin Pie cardstock with the Top Note die in the big shot. Then fold the shape in half and you have a super cute topper. I stamped it with orange slices from the Tart & Tangy stamp set.
Then I stamped the orange slice image on white, framed it with a circle punched from pumpkin pie and a scallop circle punched from crushed curry and added it on with some polka-dotted crushed curry ribbon...that's it. Isn't it adorable?

The next project was this cute little Popsicle card. To make this card, you start with a piece of cardstock that is 5.5 x 3.75". I used Melon Mambo cardstock. Score on the 5.5" side at 2.75". Then use the scallop punch to make a bite out of the corner (only do one layer of paper at a time or it will break your punch). I also cut a bite out of white and put behind it. Then use the corner rounder on the other corners (this one can go through two layers of cardstock). Now you have your popsicle shape, just decorate as you like. I stamped the strawberry from the Tart & Tangy set and framed it with a punched soft suede circle and punched crushed curry scalloped circle. The sentiment "happiness" is from the Warm Words stamp set.

To finish the card, Glue a popsicle stick on the back using either sticky strip or glue dots. And add a ribbon on the bottom--I used polka-dot melon mambo ribbon.

Here is the last project I'm sharing today. This one is a Lemonade mix holder that fits over a water bottle! This is a fun little gift, don't you think? I used a piece of crushed curry cardstock that was 3" x 8". I scored it at 2 1/8 and 6" on the long side.

Decorate your cardstock. I used the lemon slice from the Tart & Tangy stamp set. You will be folding up the bottom piece, so make sure to stamp on the back side of the cardstock. Fold it up to make a pocket for a crystal light packet or something similar and secure it with eyelets or brads.

I decorated it with another lemon slice stamped on white framed with a pumpkin pie circle and melon mambo punched scallop, and some polka-dot melon mambo ribbon. To make it fit over the water bottle, punch a circle in the top section.

Hope you enjoyed these projects. I'm moving on to some fall stuff next so this will probably be the last summer projects.
