Wisteria Bird!

Here is a a cute birdie card using the new InColor - Wisteria Wonder. I used the music notes wheel with black ink to make the background of music. Then I stamped the cage and bird from the Aviary stamp set. I punched some holes and tied bakers twine at the top to make a bow. I layered this image with black and wisteria cardstock and stamped the sentiment "thanks so much" from the Tiny Tags set. I paper pierced holes along the bottom to add some detail.

Zoo Birthday!

Here is a cute card I made for a little boys first birthday! I love the set Fox and Friends for making cards for kids! Just use some bright colors and it's perfect! For colors I used Wild Wasabi (turtle), Tangerine Tango (fox), Chocolate chip (0wl) and Daffodil Delight (lion). Then I added on some of the new polka-dot scallop ribbon. Isn't it cute? The Little tag is from the stamp set Tiny Tags and I punched it out with the jewelry tag punch and added it on with some bakers twine in white.

The polka dots are the dots from the Summer Splash set in the summer mini. The Happy Birthday sentiment is from a retired set. Here is a close up:

Delicate Doilies Card Set

One lucky winner received this set of four cards at my open house! I was having fun playing with the new InColors and the Delicate Doilies Stamp set! The first card (above) is the same layout as the one we made at my open house but in different colors.

The second card below I used the same color scheme but added some flowers punched with the triple flower punch.


This one I used some pearls on:

And the last one is very simple, just the doilies, the new punch and the sentiment from the heard from the heart stamp set.

Open House Cards!

In Case you missed my open house -here's what everyone got to make! This card uses the 3 of the new in colors --calypso coral, pool party and lucky limeade! Plus the new Stamp set Delicate Doilies and the new punch - Lace ribbon border punch. Some of the ladies had a hard time with the punch but I played with it after everyone left and I think that you just can't be afraid to push really hard. When you hesitate and stop pushing it gets jammed!!

I also had this cute bookmark as a make-and-take -- this was a fun way to try out all the new in-colors! The flower is from the new hostess set Array of Sunshine. If you haven't checked out the new hostess benefits yet, they rock! you can use your hostess $$ to buy sets from the hostess section of the book at a great discount, or use them for anything else in the catalog!! How cool is that? If you'd like to host a party or join my stamp club and get the discount without having to host, just let me know!!

And I updated the flowers on my booking cake to the new colors-- isn't it pretty??

Back to the catalog--I'm super excited about all the cool new things inside. As a demonstrator we get a chance to look at the book a little early and let me tell you... my wish list is long! There's some great new stamps (of course!) and I have my eye on some of the awesome new dies and punches--the new border one is really awesome! And if you love ribbon you're going to LOVE all the new ribbon inside. I'm definitely going to be planning some ribbon shares so watch for those to come soon!
