Fall Sympathy Card

Sympathy cards are always hard to make - partly because it's just sad to have to send one. For this card I wanted to create a pretty fall card to say I cared! I used the branches from stamp set Autumn Days to create a fall wreath using more mustard, soft suede and cajun craze inks. I added on a little bow using 1/8" Taffeta ribbon in pumpkin pie. I created a textured background for the card using the Square Lattice Embossing folder in the big shot. Then the rest of the card is made using punches. the Lace Ribbon Border punch for the bottom and then two sizes of oval and the scallop oval to create the sentiment.

stamps: Autumn Days, Teeny Tiny Wishes
ink: soft suede, more mustard, cajun craze
paper: whisper white, soft suede, more mustard, cajun craze, chocolate chip, pumpkin pie
other: 1/8" taffeta ribbon in pumpkin pie, Lace ribbon Border punch, oval punches, scallop oval punch, dimensionals, square lattice embossing folder
