Have you seen these cute little treat pockets yet? I've been seeing them everywhere online and finally tried one myself. It is double sided so it holds a treat on each side. I tried a cider packet as well and that fits in there too! Who wouldn't love to get one of these for halloween?

Here is a side view....

Here is what the other side looks like:

Monster pull tab box

Here is another fun halloween treat I created. We didn't make this one in my class since it ended up being a little more complicated but I wanted to show it on my blog. To make this, I created a box with my Simply scored tool and basic gray yardstick. Then before assembling the box on one of the narrow sides, I made a couple slits with an exacto knife close to the top to create the pull out tab. I then assembled the box and decorated it using the Monster Munchies stamp set. Then to finish the tab, I used a punched out circle that folded in half and glued into the flap to create the little chute for candy to slide out…. then I added on a cute little end using the modern label punch with pumpkin pie cardstock  to create a little tab so you know where to pull it open. This would be perfect to fill with m&Ms or any other small candy pieces.

stamps: Monster Munchies
ink: basic black
paper:  Howlstooth and Scarringbone designer paper, basic gray, basic black, tangerine tango, whisper white

Sweet treat pocket for Halloween

This fun little treat pocket is perfect for a mini sized candy bar or a Ghirardelli chocolate square.  It is made using the Scallop Envelope die for the big shot. … you cut out two envelopes and put them together to create this cute pocket. The designer paper works perfect for this because it is double sided and you can see both sides of the cute paper. I also added on a cute ribbon tie and the "Happy Boo from me to you" from the Monster Munchies stamp set.

stamps: Monster Munchies
ink: basic black, tangerine tango
paper:  Houndstooth and Scarringbone designer paper, very Vanilla
Big Shot: Scallop Envelope Die

Halloween Nugget Holder

Another treat holder that I designed for my Halloween class using Monster Munchies.

This easy to make treat holder was made using the top note die which was scored and folded to make this little folder. I also created a band to go around it and keep it securely closed. I decorated this with the skull stamp from the Monster Munchies stamp set (and some google eyes, of course).

When you slide off the band and open it up, it's perfect to fit 3 hershey nuggets, wrapped in designer paper. what a cute treat! You could make these for any occasion, just change up the paper & Stamps!

Spider Cider

The Lucky Ladies who signed up for my Monster Munchies Halloween class this week will be making one of these to take home.

When closed, this looks like a cute pocket card. I used the stamp set Monster Munchies along with some of the cool Howlstooth and Scarringbone designer paper to create this fun pocket. I also used the spiderweb embossing folder! Then you just pull up on the batty tab and see what's inside. This fun slider treat pocket is perfect for a hot chocolate or cider packet. I chose to use cider since the stamp set says "spider cider."
