Blissful Candle

I wanted to make a candle for my friend for her birthday and she loves vintage french-inspired decor so I combined the french scrip from the french foliage set and the flourish from Bliss to make this candle. What do you think? I was happy with how it turned out! I wrapped with with a piece of crumb cake seam binding ribbon and then placed it in a cello bag which I tied with some retired riding hood red striped ribbon.

I added a couple little tags from the tiny tags set, punched out with the jewelry tag punch. I added these on with some linen thread.

Baby Wipe Bliss

Today is the last day for the Sale-a-bration! This card uses one of the sets you can get for free with a $50 order. For this card I used the Baby Wipe technique to get the cool multi-colored image! Then I simply added a butterfly with a dimensional and the sentiment "a note of thanks" to finish off the main image. Then add some ribbon and an embossed background using the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder in the big shot!

Blissful Spring

It gets so dreary this time of year I thought I'd try to add some sunshine with some bright colors! For this card I used Daffodil delight, tempting turquoise, and old olive for a bright fun color palette. The stamp set I used is called Bliss -- It's one of the sets you can get for free with a $50 purchase this month. I stamped the flourish and butterflies and flowers in a random pattern and then framed them with the turquoise. I added some of the pretty satin ribbon around the middle and stamped the sentiment best wishes from the sincere salutations set and punched it out with the Large Oval punch. The background embossing was created with the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing folder in the big shot!

Butterfly Bliss

This card I forgot to post earlier... it was a card that we made at my stamp-a-stack last month. It uses the stamp set Bliss, which is one of the sets you can get until the end of march for free with a $50 purchase! Contact me if you are interested. This is a really beautiful set! For this card I stamped the flourish with pear pizazz ink and then the butterfly with concord crush. I cut out the butterfly and added it on with a dimensional. For the background I used the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder in the big shot on some pear pizazz paper. I stamped the word Bliss in two colors by coloring it with the brush side of the markers and then punched it out with the XL oval punch. I tried some of the chunky glass glitter around the edge. This glitter is unusal and really pretty! It has big shiny pieces! Here's a close-up:

Blissful...

Doesn't this card make you think of a wine label? I picked these colors and then realized they looked very "grapey". This card uses the Bliss set.. one of the sets you can pick for free if you spend $50 during the Sale-a-Bration sale! I love the big background flourish in it and and the pretty butterfly. I stamped the flourish with old olive ink on river rock cardstock. The butterfly is stamped on white with rich razzleberry ink and attached with a dimensional. This set also has a really pretty word "bliss" with swirls all around it.

Botanical Gazette Paper...

I love this pretty paper in the Occassions mini, it's called Botanical Gazette. It's filled with tons of pretty birds, butterflies and birdcages. It coordinates nicely with the Nature Walk stamp set.I couldn't decide which paper to use so I made this tile card so I could use a bunch of it! It really doesn't take much paper and you get to showcase all the cool patterns! All you do is punch out 12 squares of paper with the 1 1/4" square punch. Since these are double sided I think I only used 3 different patterns and then flipped some of them to show the backside. Then you add some pretty ribbon and a sentiment punched out with an oval and you have a quick and easy card. I used the sentiment "bliss" from the Bliss stamp set. Sale-a-Bration Bliss!

It's now officially Sale-a-Bration! This is my favorite special of the whole year... For every $50 in stampin' goodies you buy, you get to choose a free item from the Sale-a-Bration mini catalog! How cool is that? I made this card using one of the stamp sets you can choose for free. It's called Bliss.

I couldn't decide what colors to use for this card so I pulled out my color coach and went to real red and saw this color combo: real red, early espresso and pumpkin pie. I'm not sure I would have otherwise tried these colors together but thought I'd give it a shot. I'm happy with how it turned out! I added some crumb cake... my favorite neutral lately and of course, white.


The polka dot background was created using the Big Shot and the Perfect Polka dots embossing folder. I also used the scallop trim border punch to get that pretty edge.
