Three Tags Card

Does it feel like fall yet? Not quite here but I know it's not too far off. Today I'm sharing another Fall card I made. This is a simple card made using the Day of Gratitude stamp set and the tag punch. I haven't used this punch in awhile so I pulled it out for this card. I stamped the leaves in 3 different fall colors and punched out. I added some scallop polka dot ribbon with a staple on the top of each one. For the background,  I embossed a some early espresso paper with the woodgrain embossing folder to give it some texture.  Then a bit of Scallop trim border punch to add some color along the bottom!

stamps: Day of Gratitude, Teeny Tiny Wishes
ink: Eary Espresso, More Mustard, Cajun Craze
paper:  Eary Espresso, More Mustard, Cajun Craze, Crumb Cake
Big Shot: Woodgrain Embossing folder
other: Tag punch, scallop trim border punch

Fall Birthday Card

Another card from my Fall stamp-a-stack last week. For this card I used the set Day of Gratitude from the big catalog. This is one of my favorite fall stamp sets. I love the bold leaf images and the beautiful Medallion!

On this card I did something I rarely do.. I used the color Bravo Burgundy!  For some reason I've always disliked this color and never use it on projects.. but when I started the the more mustard  and olive and was looking for a dark color to coordinate, I found myself reaching for it and actually love how this turned out. I even ordered myself another pack of this color paper…. gasp!

stamps: Day of Gratitude, Teeny Tiny Wishes
ink: More Mustard, Old Olive, Bravo Burgundy
paper:  More Mustard, Old Olive, Bravo Burgundy, Whisper White
other: Scallop oval and oval punches,  dimensionals, Bakers Twine, scalloped polka dot ribbon in old olive

All my Wreaths...

I just realized I never shared pictures of all the wreaths that I made for Christmas gifts! I love how these turned out and I made them using several different color combos. Each wreath was made by making a bunch of "lollies" using the simply scored tool. Then I created designs to go in the middles, stamping and punching out scallop circles and circles and using buttons on some. Then they are all attached to a flat wooden circle using a hot glue gun.

Here is the first one.. For this one I used the Christmas lodge paper from the holiday mini catalog. I used the stamp set Pines and Pointsettias for the images.

The next one is a bit brighter color palette. I used the holly berry bouquet paper from the holiday mini catalog and coordinated the colors with it.

I also made a couple of "fall" ones.. These are nice because they can stay up longer than the Christmas ones. These both used the stamp set Day of Gratitude.

The last one I kept for myself... Of course I need one for my house too!

Here are the recipients opening their wreaths.. I think they loved them!

Anti-Bacterial Holders

Here are some cute little anti-bacterial holders I made! I made these for the craft fair so I was using up some of my holiday paper leftovers from previous catalogs. This cute paper is from last year but I still love it! Then I used the snowflake from serene snowflakes and the little message Merry is from the Tiny Tags set.

This one uses the Merry Christmas sentiment from the Teeny Tiny wishes set punched out with the word window and the Modern Label punch.

Here's what they look like open. I stamped on the insides and added some patternered paper across the bottom. They close with a little piece of velcro.

Here are a few more holiday ones:

A fall one using the Day of Gratitude set and the woodgrain paper from the Christmas Lodge paper...

And last, but not least, some created with the Berry Blossoms paper pack:

Faux tearing Fall

Each month I've been showing two techniques in my technique class. Here is the second one for this month. It's called "Faux Tearing" because it looks like torn paper but really is created with one layer! Here's a close-up so you can see:

Isn't it neat how it has so much dimension but it is only one layer of card stock? I used the stamp set French Foliage to make this card. This is one of my favorite fall sets, I love the distressed look of the leaves and the french script writing! I used the thanksgiving sentiment from the set Day of Gratitude. Then I framed the whole thing using the framed tulips embossing folder!

stamps: french foliage, day of gratitude
ink:cajun craze, so saffron, soft suede, pumpkin pie
paper: whisper white, soft suede, cajun craze
other: bakers twine, framed tulips embossing folder, big shot, brayer

Fall Thank you!

It has really started to feel like fall here the past couple of days! I can't believe it's already that time of year. I'm sad to see summer go but I do really love the fall days. There's something wonderful about throwing on a hooded sweatshirt and going for a walk…especially once the leaves start chaining color!

Here is a card that is perfect for this time of year. It uses the set Day of Gratitude. This was one of my favorites from the Holiday mini last year so I was excited to see it made it into this years big book! I love the big medallion that's in the set and the leaves. On this card I stamped them randomly on very vanilla card stock using riding hood red, pumpkin pie and chocolate chip ink. Then I made a border using the awesome Lace ribbon border punch out of chocolate chip card stock. I also added some early espresso bakers twine and the sentiment punched out with the Decorative label punch.

stamps: Day of Gratitude
ink: riding hood red, chocolate chip, pumpkin pie
paper: riding hood red, chocolate chip, crumb cake, very vanilla
other: bakers twine, Lace Ribbon border punch, label punch

Holiday Class today!

Today is my holiday gift class! This is a favorite class of some of my customers because it helps them create some great little gifts for their friends and family. This calendar is one of the projects that they can make today. It's super cute and simple since it fits into a cd case to sit on your desk! The hardest part is deciding which images to stamp on each page!

Here are the other things we are making today:

Stamped Candle in cello bag using the Day of Gratitude stamp set!:

Flower using the XL Big shot die and Deck the Halls fabric from the holiday mini:

Stamped ornament:
using the Merry Crittermas stamp set, stamped with Staz-on ink on window sheet and rolled to fit inside the bulb!

Snowman Soup:
Decorated the mug by cutting vinyl snowflakes out with the big shot and the Northern flurries die! then added some hot chocolate, a candy cane, hershey kisses and marshmallows inside a cello bag. Add a cute tag with a punch snowman and poem.
