Perfectly Preserved Pear!

Here is a pretty little pear card we made at my Fall stamp-a-stack last week.  I used the stamp set Perfectly Preserved and the coordinating framelits dies (cannery) to create the jar and pear inside. For the lid, I simply used the die to cut out a piece of paper from the Orchard Harvest Designer Series paper pack.   I added a punched out 2.5" circle behind them to help them pop off the card. The background of the card was created using the Lacy Brocade Embossing folder.

stamps: Perfectly Preserved
ink: More Mustard, Old Olive, Black
paper:  Crumb Cake, early espresso, Old Olive, Whisper White, Orchard Harvest Designer Series Paper
Big Shot: Framelits Dies - Cannery Set and Labels Set, Lacy Brocade Embossing Folder
other: Word Window Punch,  dimensionals, Bakers Twine in pacific point

Fall Jar of Posies

Have I mentioned that  I really LOVE this perfectly preserved stamp set? This jar is just so versatile! For this card I used the flower and stem that come in the set to create this fun card. I stamped the flower 3 times in different colors and then cut them out with the coordinating cannery framelit die. Then I stamped the jar and stems on Crumb Cake card stock and added on the flowers. It looks so cute! Then I added the "thanks" from the same set on top of the jar.

I love how the color combo works on this card. I sometimes forget to try stamping on colors besides white and when I do try it I usually love how it turns out. It really makes the flowers pop and I used the white as a fun accent!

New Core'dinations Card stock is awesome!

Here is one of the cards the lucky ladies who are attending my stamp-a-stack tonight will get to make. I just love how this turned out. I used the new Core'dinations cardstock with the new Woodgrain embossing folder to make that cool texture. After embossing it you just softly go over it with the sand block and the core color shows through. Doesn't it work perfect for woodgrain?

Happy Birthday Apple Card

Here is a card that I made for my mom for  her birthday! My mom has a big garden and does a ton of canning and such so this was perfect for her.

I used the new stamp set Perfectly Preserved and the coordinating framelits dies (cannery). DId you notice if you buy the dies and stamp set that coordinate at the same time from the holiday mini you can purchase them as a bundle and save $$? How cool is that!

For the main image I stamped the jar on very vanilla and the lid and apples and then used the framelits Cannery dies to cut them out in the big shot. It's really cool how easy it is to line these all up and cut them! I popped off one of the apples for some extra dimension using and dimensional dot. And then added some linen thread around the top of the jar lid to make it look like it was tied shut. I used this to add my words the the jar too.

I also used the framelits Labels die to create the layered shapes and added some texture by paper piercing the edge of the more mustard card stock.

stamps: Perfectly Preserved, teeny tiny wishes
ink: Lucky Limeade, Raspberry Ripple, More Mustard, Early Espresso
paper:  More Mustard, Crumb Cake, Lucky Limeade, Very Vanilla, Raspberry Ripple, early espresso, Orchard Harvest Designer Series Paper
Big Shot: Framelits Dies - Cannery Set and Labels Set
other: Word Window Punch, Paper piercing tool and template, linen thread, dimensionals
