One of the cool things about being a demonstrator is all the cool people you get to meet. I love going to the meetings that my upline holds. We always have cool gifts and door prizes along with make-and takes and sharing of ideas. This time she gave us all one of these and it's the coolest idea! This is one of the blank clear stamp cases (you can order blank ones right out of the catalog). She embellished it with some paper to make it pretty and when you open it up there is a magnet inside to hold your framelits! No more worries about them getting bent or lost! This magnet is a piece of one of magnet sheets that Stampin' Up sells for the big shot and I was impressed how strong it is! I haven't tried these before but definitely need to buy some! Lucky for me I also won a second case as one of the door prizes at the meeting so I have one for my Labels and one for my hearts! Cool, huh?

Ribbon storage that rocks!
I'm excited to share this great idea with you today. I've been trying to get my craft area more organized lately and I stumbled across this great idea from Amazing Paper Grace. You can see her post here. I thought... wow, I could do that too! I admit it, I'm a ribbon addict. Not only do I have a shelf full of Stampin' Up ribbons but I also had tons of other spools of ribbons hanging out in various places in my craft room, in boxes, loose on shelves etc.... So I emptied out one of the drawers in my organizer that sits next to where I work and went to town. Luckily I always save the cardboard backer sheets that come with all the Stampin' Up paper packs so I had a bunch of those. I cut them down to 3 inch by 3 inch squares so the ribobns would fit in this drawer and started winding!
Here's how it turned out:
Isn't it lovely? I think I will use it now that it's all pretty, organized and easy to access! PLUS- the amount of space I'm saving it amazing. I had a giant box of cardboard ribbon spools I recycled! previously each of the little cubbies in this drawer would only hold 4 or so spools. Now, as you can see they fit a dozen or so ribbons!
