Tealight Snowflake Candle Holder!

Here is another project you will be able to make if you sign up for my Holiday Gift Class! RSVPs are due by the end of the Day on Monday, Nov 21, so make sure to contact me if you'd like to attend! This snowflake holder is cut out of thin metal using the Big shot! How cool is that? I also embossed it to add the dots! You will also get to learn how to stamp the tea light candle. This is easier than you think and adds a lot of fun to the gift. The design does stay as you burn the candle, it sinks down. I tested one to make sure it would burn ok!

Blissful Candle

I wanted to make a candle for my friend for her birthday and she loves vintage french-inspired decor so I combined the french scrip from the french foliage set and the flourish from Bliss to make this candle. What do you think? I was happy with how it turned out! I wrapped with with a piece of crumb cake seam binding ribbon and then placed it in a cello bag which I tied with some retired riding hood red striped ribbon.

Here's the top:
I added a couple little tags from the tiny tags set, punched out with the jewelry tag punch. I added these on with some linen thread.

stamps:Bliss, French foliage
ink: riding hood red, early espresso, very vanilla
paper: crumb cake, riding hood red
other: candle, linen thread, striped grosgrain ribbon, jewelry tag punch, cello bag

Merry Christmas!...and some candle boxes

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!
I hope everyone is having a safe and happy holiday and
spending some quality relaxing time with their families..

Here are some candle boxes I made...some for the holiday craft fair and some for gifts. These are really fun to make... I made up all the boxes first and then stamped the candles. The hardest part was finding votive candles the right size to fit in the boxes. I had a bunch of boxes made and then I couldn't find more candles the right size....eventually found some but who knew that votives came in all different heights? I guess that's a lesson learned... make sure you have all the supplies you need for your project before making a bunch more!!

I made these in a bunch of different colors and stamp sets.

Thank you Candle

Isn't this candle cool? I'm so happy with how it turned out. I made these for my hostess gifts in September! I think they really liked them. I used the Day of Gratitude set to stamp the big image on the candle. There's one on each side. Then I put it in a cello bag and tied it with some ribbons... I like using two kinds of ribbon to spice it up.

Here's a close up of the tags:

One is a leaf from the same set stamped and then punched out with the Tag Punch, and the other tag is the sentiment from the set, stamped and punched out with the oval punch! These candles make great gifts, plus they look so pretty!

I also made one for my door prize:

If you would like to learn how to make candles like this, I will be showing it at my holiday gift class on Dec. 11.... but they will be Christmas themed instead.
