Birthday Joy Fold

Today I'm sharing another "Joy Fold" Card with you. This is just like the one I posted yesterday but uses a different stamp set. For this one I used Fresh Vintage from the Sale-a-Bration Mini catalog. Other than that, the concept is the same. These cards are so pretty and not that difficult to make. How fun would it be to get one of these in the mail?

Here it is open:

And all the way closed:

ink: Lucky limeade, Calypso Coral, Pool Party
paper: Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper, Calypso Coral, Very Vanilla, Pool Party, Lucky Limeade

Stair Step Cards

Another card we made at my fun folds class was a Stair-Step card. These cards are also fun to display! When folded flat they fit in a regular size A2 envelope. For the first one I used the Sale-a-Bration stamp set Fresh Vintage to stamp the main image. I colored the stamp with wild wasabi, marina mist and calypso coral markers. Then I added the "happiness" from the set Fabulous Phrases, punched out with the word window punch and framed with the Modern Label punch. Some ruffled ribbon and bakers twine add the finishing touches!

The next card is also a stair step card but this time I used the set Mouthwatering from the Occasions Mini Catalog. I love the cherry in this set! I added the "sweet" from the Fabulous Phrases set again... If you don't have this set, it's a great one... lots of awesome easy to use words in it! I added some cherries in the background from the fruit and flowers stamp set, just red ink on real red cardstock. I also added a fun border with the scallop ribbon border punch and some red 1/8" taffeta ribbon!

Faux Tile Easel Card

Here is one more faux tile card. This one, like the one posted here, uses the Fresh Vintage stamp set. (this is one of the sets you can get for FREE during Sale-a-Bration). This time I made the card into an easel card. If you like the easel card Idea, I will be showing an easel card at my next class (the fun folds class) so make sure to sign up for that. It's not this exact card but it is the same idea!

To make this card I used the framed tulips embossing folder and put the faux tile piece inside it. I added on some pleated satin ribbon and the sentiment thanks to the front.

Here is what the card looks like closed:

stamps: Fresh Vintage, Kindness Matters
ink: early espresso, baja breeze
paper: early espresso, whisper white, crumb cake
others: pleated satin ribbon, oval punches, scallop oval punch
